Infusion of Pilewort (Lesser Celandine)
Ingredients:
1 oz. Pilewort Herb (Lesser Celandine) (cut)
1 1⁄4 pints distilled water
Instructions:
1. Boil the water and pour over Herb. Cover and let steep in a hot place for 20 minutes.
2. Strain and add 1 oz. glycerine.
3. Cool and bottle.
Dose:
1 wineglassful 3 or 4 times a day. Not suitable for children.
Outwardly, for hemorrhoids, tumorous growths, hard growths, wens, etc: Saturate cotton and apply, renewing application as it dries.
For internal hemorrhoids: Use in enema after stool, retaining as long as possible. Repeat as often as the case requires. A mild, non-irritating laxative should be given at night.
The diet should consist of easily digested and non-constipating foods, such as vegetables and fruits.
