Alterative Herbs

Alteratives are also known as ‘blood cleansers’ or ‘blood purifiers’. They have a positive effect on the body by gradually altering the general condition of the body; restoring proper function and improving the body’s defence.

Alteratives address issues to do with the circulatory, respiratory, reproductive, urinary, digestive, musculoskeletal and nervous systems. They have an effect on the mucus membrane, lymph and glands.

They are used in treating toxicity of the blood, blood conditions, infections, cancer, arthritis,  skin conditions and auto-immune diseases.
