This is a break from my regular salads, as I don’t usually have sprouts, however I decided to try a sprout salad this time.
1 Handful Sprouts
1 Cup Mushrooms (Diced)
2 Lettuce Leaves (Break or cut into small bits)
1/4 Bell Pepper each (Yellow, Red, Green – diced)
4 Plum or Cherry Tomatoes
1 Small Red Onion (Diced or sliced)
Juice of 1/2 an Orange
1/2 Tbsp Mixed Dried Herbs
1/4 Tbsp Cayenne Pepper
1/4 Tbsp Salt (optional)
1 Tsp Olive Oil
Combine ingredients in a bowl. Mix well together with spoon or hands (preferably). You can also add your favourite salad dressing, however, it can be had as it is.
I added some basil as garnish. You can however garnish as you like.
I think a bit of cilantro would have been a nice addition.
