Infusion of Geranium (Cranesbill) – Diarrhoea, Hemorrhage Etc.

GERANIUM MACULATUM

Plant: Geranium maculatum

Ingredients:

1 ounce Geranium root (cut or powdered)
1 pint boiling Water

Instructions:

1. Put the 1 ounce Geranium root into a jug or earthenware jar.
2. Pour on the boiling water.
3. Stir well and let it stand until cool.
4. Strain and bottle.

Dose:

Adults – From one wineglassful to a teacupful when required. Children – From one teaspoonful to a tablespoonful, according to age. It may be sweetened with honey or black molasses, if desired.

Purpose:
This is an excellent remedy for insipient diarrhea, relaxed mucous membranes, bleeding piles, leucorrhoea, sore mouth, relaxed uvula, and slight internal hemorrhage. It may also be applied outwardly as a lotion for sagging and relaxed skin.
